Key Point Group Unveils the Second Phase of Its Data Center in Novosibirsk
On December 3, Novosibirsk hosted a presentation of the second phase of the Key Point Group data center, built by Open Technologies Engineering.
During the presentation, Sergey Rubtsov, CEO of Key Point Management, spoke to guests about the Key Point Group data center network and the technical features of the Novosibirsk data center. Guests were also given a tour of the facility, where they had the opportunity to explore the engineering systems and see firsthand the scale, reliability, and modernity of the technical solutions

The capacity of the second phase of the Key Point Group Novosibirsk data center is 440 IT racks with a power density of 7 kW each. In total, the data center is designed to accommodate 880 commercial racks and has a total project capacity of 11 MW. The facility meets all international requirements for ensuring the stable operation of core digital infrastructure and has successfully passed the two-stage Uptime Institute certification at the Tier III reliability level.

The Novosibirsk data center of Key Point Group is the largest commercial data center in Siberia. Construction was carried out using a modular approach with proprietary prefabricated solutions. The engineering infrastructure features multi-level redundancy — a 4/3N scheme for power supply and N+1 for cooling — which ensures high fault tolerance and enables the deployment of high-density racks of up to 20 kW. The data center is also equipped with a comprehensive set of power, cooling, and service systems that support uninterrupted 24/7/365 operation.

“Today, clients need more than just rack space and power — they require resilient infrastructure, transparent operational standards, growth opportunities, and guaranteed connectivity. The new Novosibirsk data center meets all of these needs: the facility provides access to services from nine telecom operators,” said Sergey Rubtsov.
