Two new Bauman Moscow State Technical University buildings open in Moscow
On February 1, during an online meeting of the Mayor of Moscow and the President of Russia, two new buildings of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University research cluster were opened. These are the research center and the multifunctional library building. Open Technology Engineering specialists designed all the internal engineering systems and carried out construction, installation and commissioning works for power supply systems and low-current systems.
This project to create a world-class campus is being implemented by the Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the Government of Moscow on behalf of the President of Russia. The new campus will house almost 170,000 square meters of new premises and 14 new buildings, including 11 newly constructed buildings, 2 restored cultural heritage sites adapted to modern university needs, and 1 fully reconstructed building.

Open Technology Engineering began working on the building complex project at Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 2021. The company's area of responsibility includes designing all internal engineering systems of the 14 cluster buildings and constructing engineering systems (power supply, lightning protection and grounding, architectural lighting of facades, a complex of fire-fighting systems, physical security, communications, automation and dispatching systems) in 9 buildings.
The first two new buildings, the Biotechnology Center and the Transport Engineering Center, were commissioned in December 2022.
On September 1, 2023, 2 more buildings were commissioned: a five-story Multifunctional Research & Education building and a two-story Palace of Technology – a restored 18th century building of the Phanagorian Barracks.

A new six-storey building with an area of 5.2 thousand square meters, will host the university's advanced engineering school, where specialists in the field of rocket and space science will study and make projects for high-tech companies. The building will feature research laboratories, educational and leisure spaces, and administrative offices.
