Presentation of the “Data Centers” Base Department Held at National Research University "MPEI"
A presentation of the new “Data Centers” base department was held at the National Research University “MPEI.”
Representatives of STI met with 3rd- and 4th-year students from the Department of Production Technologies and Equipment Design (TMPU) at the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Hydrogen Technologies, where the department has recently been established.
Open Technologies Engineering specialists — future instructors at the new department — spoke about the key stages of modern data center design, engineering challenges their team solves, and the competencies most in demand in today’s industry.
Special attention was given to the department itself — its mission, structure, and the opportunities it offers to students.
As part of the event, three 3rd-year students were awarded internship grants at Open Technologies Engineering for their active participation and thoughtful questions.
The agenda also included a science-themed quiz organized by the university. Winners of the intellectual game received branded gifts from Open Technologies Engineering.
“We want students to understand the profession from the inside and make informed career decisions. Some of them may eventually join our team — and that would be the highest praise for our work,” noted one of the future instructors.
